【6月17日 AFP】男子テニスのアンディ・マレー（Andy Murray）とジェイミー・マレー（Jamie Murray）の母親であるジュディ（Judy Murray）さんが16日、大英勲章第4位にあたるオフィサー章（OBE、Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire）を授与されることが分かった。

　2度ウィンブルドン選手権（The Championships Wimbledon）を制しているアンディは2013年に、ダブルスで四大大会（グランドスラム）優勝を経験しているジェイミーは2016年にオフィサー章を授与されている。

　フェドカップ（Fed Cup）で英国代表の監督を務めた57歳のジュディさんは、テニス界や女性のスポーツ進出への貢献、チャリティー活動が認められて受賞に至った。

　オフィサーはコマンダー（CBE、Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire）とメンバー（Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire）の間に位置する。

　なお、アンディは今年1月にナイト（Knight Bachelor）の称号を授与され、「サー（sir）」の敬称で呼ばれることになった。(c)AFP
