私は普段どこか目的地に行く際、何か気を付けていくこともなければ、リスクを負うということ自体がまずありえないことである。しかしインド移民者は、国の貧困や政治的起訴から逃れるためパナマへ移民するが、その際にお金がなく窃盗や違反を犯すものもいれば、栄養不足や水不足で死に至る場合もあるという。これは、パナマのダリエン州ラペニータ村のチュクケナ川で入浴をしているところですが、見てわかる通り水もきれいなわけではなく、とても汚い限りです。衛生上でもかなり危険であると私は感じます。私たちが普段あたりまえのように過ごしている生活が、当たり前ではない人たちもいるということを、私たちはもっと認識していかなければなりません。それに人類は皆平等であり対等であるため、今私たちにできることを模索し、分け与え、助け合いを生むことが必要です。そういった考えを強く感じさせる一枚であった。（ペンネーム：Y）
